An autopsy has failed to determine a cause of death for a newborn baby boy found early Monday morning near an auto parts store in Bakersfield.
Police say the case will be treated as a homicide until toxicology tests prove otherwise. But they note there were no signs of trauma to the infant.
The baby was found dead inside a duffel bag in a flower bed near the auto parts store.
