Sacramento police are trying to identify possible suspects involved in a drive-by shooting early Monday that left a mother of eight dead.
The shooting happened just after 1 a.m. at a home in the city´s south area. Police say the victim, 43-year-old Celiflora Prado was sitting in the living room of her home when more than 12 shots were fired into her home.
There were at least six other adults and four children in the room with her.
Police say the shooting is possibly gang related. Officers have been called to Prado´s home several times in the past.
