Use extra care driving in the Mother Lode. Snow and slush are causing problems in the Twain Harte area and above. There have been reports of hail in some areas as well. If you´re headed for the upper elevations carry chains and emergency kits.
In the lower elevations watch for water on the road in some outlying areas. You may also encounter some mud or rocks on roads near steep hillsides.
