Gary Condit has lost the Democratic congressional primary in California. Condit lost to Dennis Cardoza, a former associate and friend. Condit´s bid to keep his seat was shadowed by the disappearance of Chandra Levy. She´s the 24-year-old Washington intern who hasn´t been seen since last April.
