Governor Gray Davis has won the endorsement of both California senators. Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein gave the nod to their fellow Democrat at a press conference yesterday in San Francisco. Boxer said the governor has shown a steady hand in dealing with the recession and the state´s energy crisis.
Davis was peppered with questions regarding the state´s dealings with embattled Enron. The governor responded by saying he fought Enron every step of the way.
