Calaveras County Sheriff Dennis Downum officially turns over the keys and title of a Marine Safety boat to the Copperopolis Volunteer Fire Department next week.
Downum´s department donated the boat to the fire fighters recently. Fire Chief Dennis Powers will accept the gift at a brief ceremony Wednesday morning.
