A missing persons report turned into a grand theft investigation for Tuolumne County deputies in Strawberry. The victim initially reported his employee missing on a trip into Sonora. Several hours later he reported some money and his car had disappeared with the man. So far no sign of either.
Deputies are also looking into a burglary in the basement of the Mother Lode Christian School gymnasium in tuolumne City, and a theft from a parked vehicle at Peterbuilt transmissions in Sonora.
