Another apparent scam to get your social security number and other information. A woman in Jamestown reports she got a call from somebody claiming to be an investigator at Sacramento airport. The caller claimed to have a suspect in custody with the victim´s credit and social security cards, and asked for the numbers to verify them.
Police in Angels Camp are also investigating the scam. You´re reminded never to give those numbers to a stranger.
