Tuolumne County deputies are checking out two more reports of counterfeit money in the Mother Lode. A clerk at the Sonora Burger King on Mono Way reports a man with a small mustache and light brown hair tried to pass a phony 20-dollar bill, then grabbed it back and ran when its authenticity was questioned.
Another fake 20 was found at Mother Lode Christian School´s thrift shop in Tuolumne City.
