A 13-year-old San Andreas boy was accidentally shot in the chest with a .22 cal. pistol.
Calaveras County sheriff investigators say Kyle Tammarine and several of his friends were playing with the pistol when the shooting occurred.
One of the youth´s is being charged with negligent discharge of a firearm causing an injury. Tammarine was transported to Mark Twain Hospital for treatment.
