More adventure than what they signed-up for, a tourist van was rear-ended by small passenger car this morning shortly before 11:30 a.m. on Highway 49 at O´Hara Drive.
The van was filled with at least eight foreign tourists heading to Columbia State Park.
A large roof rack loaded with luggage ripped away from the Suntrek Small Group Adventure Tours van and landed down the embankment.
Traffic was diverted at Columbia Way to Brown´s Flat, headed out of Sonora toward Columbia, causing a delay through the area.
