A 25 year old Arnold man was knocked down and stabbed once in the stomach last night by an unknown assailant wearing camouflage.
Calaveras County Sheriffs report Christopher Harris was camping in a wooded area at the end of Bull Whacker Run behind the Secured Self Storage in Arnold when he heard a noise and was knocked down and stabbed by someone wearing camouflage clothing and head covering. Investigators say they searched the area but didn´t find a suspect.
The attack took place around 8:30 last night. Harris was taken to Mark Twain Hospital in San Andreas for treatment. The attack is under investigation.
