Tuolumne County deputies are investigating a grand theft in Soulsbyville. The victim reports his chainsaw and several other items were stolen from the bed and cab of his pickup truck while he was in a restaurant having coffee.
Power tools seem to be generally attractive to thieves this week: A chain saw and weed eater were taken from a Chinese Camp home, along with shears, a generator, a camp stove and some other items, and another chain saw was taken from beneath the deck of a home in MiWuk Village.
