More than 70 marijuana plants were discovered in Mountain Ranch at the site of a pot garden burnt last summer in the Leonard fire.
Calaveras County Narcotics Enforcement officers found the 4-foot-tall plants, a pressurized drip irrigation system and other items in the area off the 4000 block of Wrenn Road. No arrests have been made and the case is under investigation.
