Escape School This Weekend

Does your child know how to escape a would-be abductor?

With kidnappings becoming more and more prevalent, the San Andreas office of the California Highway Patrol, in cooperation with Century 21 Realty in Arnold, are sponsoring a “Child Escape School” Friday and Saturday.

The free program teaches children simple ways they can use to escape from abductors.

Friday´s “school” starts at 3 o´clock at the Foothill Community Church Learning Center in Angels Camp. On Saturday, the escape school is held at Avery Middle School in Avery beginning at 1 p.m.

In conjunction with the program, the CHP will be fingerprinting the children, up to 18 years of age, photographing and assisting the parents with DNA sample for ID cards both days.

Seating is limited at the two clinics and reservations are required. Call Larry Muetterties at the Century 21 Arnold office, 795-4485, to make reservations.
