Calaveras County law enforcement is looking for an armed and dangerous suspect wanted for, escape, vehicle theft and firearms violations.
Investigators say 40-year-old Jeffery Anthony Whipple is still on the loose and wanted by the US Marshall´s Service for escape. He is believed responsible for stealing a 1975 GMC pick-up in Murphys Sunday.
Calaveras County Deputies arrested 39 year-old Kenneth Morgan of Murphys and 31 year-old Kelly Talbott of Bellflower in connection with a stolen car from Riverside and stolen firearms recovered this weekend at the old Utica Powerhouse. Whipple is believed to have been with the two men.
Morgan is being held on $100,000 bail.
Calaveras County Sheriffs Captain Michael Walker says Whipple is still at large and could possibly be in the area.
