Caltrans has reopened the Sonora Pass on Highway 108. A spokeswoman at Caltrans says the route east/west linking Sonora to Highway 395 was reopened to traffic at noon today.
The pass was closed Tuesday after a cold front moved into the mountain areas bringing with it snow and icy conditions.
Tioga Pass through Yosemite National Park was also closed Tuesday, but reopened early yesterday afternoon.
