Hispanic leaders are vowing to work hard for Democratic Governor Davis´ re-election. This, despite disappointment over his veto of legislation that would have given driver´s licenses to some illegal immigrants. Davis cited post-September eleventh security concerns, but his veto angered Hispanic leaders who have long sought the legislation.
