An autopsy will be performed today on the body of a man found in bushes Thursday in Sonora.
Sonora Police said the unidentified man was found about 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon by children playing behind an apartment complex on Greenley Road.
Tuolumne County Coroner’s officials say there was no obvious indication of who the man was, how old he was or how he died.
Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Sgt. Bob Bogolea says the body was partially decomposed and may have been in the brush for a week or so.
