Bogus $20 bills are showing up in Calaveras County.
Sheriff Dennis Downum says the counterfeit $20s look good on the front, but the backs of the bills are a little shoddy. The paper also feels different than real bills.
The sheriff says to carefully inspect any money you take, and call the sheriff´s department immediately if you spot a bad bill.
