In the Over the years, Columbia College has been a center for displaying exhibits of art for the community in the Rotunda of the Manzanita Building. There is no admission charge.
Rotunda hours are Mondays through Thursdays, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., and Fridays, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Currently on exhibit is a Quilt Show by local artist and teacher Cindy Fox, along with works by her elementary school students. Ms. Fox´s own art focuses on environmental themes. The show is on display through Nov. 14.
From Nov. 18 through Dec. 19, water will be the subject of the Rotunda exhibit. All artists are invited to enter their work, which must address water in some way or form.
Entries will be accepted in the Rotunda on Nov. 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and are restricted to one large (36″ or larger in any one direction) or two smaller (less than 36″). Works will be returned after the exhibit on Dec. 19 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. or by prior arrangement.
