A Sonora resident reported seeing a small bear walking through their Yosemite Road neighborhood Sunday.
Tuolumne County Sheriffs deputies say the bear was gone upon their arrival. Residents in the area are concerned bears might scare livestock. A dead deer carcass could have been the attraction for the bear yesterday.
