Berkeley Bean Ballot Measure Beaten

Just in case you were wondering, Berkeley voters picked price and choice over political correctness in their coffee beans.

Voters rejected a measure that would have required that all brewed coffee served in the city come from beans certified as organic, shade grown or fair-trade. Seventy percent of voters voted against the measure.
