A 49-year-old Paradise man is recovering in U.C. Medical Center´s burn unit after his home exploded yesterday. Lloyd Whaley was trying to light a pilot light at the time. Fire officials say the flame may have ignited a 20-gallon propane tank in his home. Several homes in the area were also damaged.
