The U.S. Forest Service has named a new supervisor for the Stanislaus National Forest.
Tom Quinn, and administrator from the Forest Services´s headquarters in Washington, will come to the Sonora forest headquarters in January.
Quinn replaces Ben DeVillar who was reassigned to regional headquarters in Vallejo five months ago. DeVillar´s transfer came after a visiting forest service review team criticized leadership and communication on the Stanislaus.
