Rain, strong winds and high surf are pounding Northern California and more wet weather is on the way.
The National Weather Service says five big storms are expected to drench the region over the next several days. Blizzard conditions in the Lake Tahoe area are expected over the upper elevation passes tonight.
The National Weather service has issued a winter storm warning for Mother Lode area around Yosemite south for this afternoon through Sunday morning. A colder strom is on the way, dropping the snow level from 8,000 feet this afternoon to 6,000 feet by Sunday.
Monday, you can expect snow above 2,500 feet. with lots of rain and wind to continue.
