Rainfall of two to six inches over a wide area of Northern California set several rainfall records yesterday.
The Friday the 13th deluge on the northern edge of San Francisco Bay included 6.24 inches of rain at San Rafael.
Oakland had just under four inches of rain, downtown San Francisco just under three inches and San Francisco Airport two-and-one-half inches.
