Dodge Ridge Ski Area in Pinecrest will open Wednesday as planned despite the major power outage in the area. Dodge Ridge spokesman Steve Lane said this morning the ski resort is operating on back-up power generators.
“We have auxiliary backups on all lifts, and generators running all the buildings here, so – we´re going to open,” Lane said.
The ski area received an additional 16-inches of snow overnight and it´s still snowing, Lane said.
“The chart says we have 40-inches at the base right now and 60-inches up top. It continues to snow,” Lane said.
