Recently unsealed court records show that a series of telephone calls led to the arrest of Andrew McCrae, who is suspected of killing a Red Bluff police officer.
The Red Bluff Daily News petitioned the Tehama County Superior Court to release the records.
McCrae, who also goes by the name Andrew Mickel, is suspected of killing Red Bluff Police Officer David Mobilio.
Authorities say Mobilio was ambushed at a Red Bluff gas station and shot three times on November 19th. Court records show that McCrae was arrested in New Hampshire after he made a number of phone calls to his parents and a Washington Post staffer.
California Governor Davis has signed a request to extradite McCrae. An extradition hearing is set for Thursday in Concord, New Hampshire.
