Three people were injured this morning in a traffic collision on Highway 108 in Jamestown.
The CHP says a full size GMC van, driven by Sonora resident Susan Rager, was attempting to turn into Chips Chevron and pulled directly into the path of a tow truck driven by Austin Lawrence of Oakdale.
Officers say Lawrence, towing a pick-up truck, was not able to stop in time and slammed into the right side of the van.
Rager suffered minor injures.
Her 71 year-old passenger, Joan Hannon, suffered major injures, including a collapsed lung, broken ribs and collar bone. A second passenger in the van, 17 year old Nicole Rager, sustained cuts to her head and other minor injuries.
Lawrence was not injured.
