Calaveras County fire crews called deputies and Haz mat teams to a house fire Friday afternoon in
Hathaway Pines. They discovered what was believed to be a drug lab at a house that was engulfed in flames and black smoke when they arrived on Hillcrest
Drive shortly after 4:30.
Investigation is continuing.
