Sonora police are continuing extra patrols around the Sonora Elementary School campus but so far haven´t
been able to substantiate a student report of a man with a gun near the school.
Officers say they found no tracks or witnesses to confirm a man in a gray
camouflage suit was in the area carrying a shotgun. Students were kept off the lower field of the campus as a precaution.
