Tuolumne County Settled Disabilities Act Claims

Tuolumne County has avoided a potential costly court trial dealing with the Americans With Disabilities Act.
County Counsel Gregory Oliver says the case involved two area men who sued the county because there wasn´t enough access for the disabled at Sonora
Veterans´ Hall.

Improvements will include a new elevator for wheelchair bound people and a parking space for the handicapped.
