No Blackouts Expected, But Conservation Urged

California power grid officials are hopeful they can avoid rolling blackouts the rest of the week. But,
Independent System Operator officials say power supplies will be tight.

Meanwhile, a federal judge in Sacramento plans to decide shortly whether or
not to order three major power generators to continue supplying electricity to the I-S-O. Two have agreed to do so, but Reliant Energy Services is resisting
unless the state guarantees the bills.
