Firefighters extinguished a blaze in the 1700 block of Mt. Elizabeth Drive in the Cedar Ridge area
Thursday. The fire consumed just a small area before it was contained.
Fire crews also put out a couple of three acre fires earlier in the day. One, along
Wards Ferry Road may have involved a chlorine gas explosion, that´s still under investigation.
The cause of another fire at Highway 49 and Rawhide
Road Thursday afternoon is also under investigation. No injuries were reported in any of the fires.
