Fire crews at the Creek fire near Groveland contained an estimated half acre fire around five o´clock this
morning in the Greeley Hills area. A vehicle accident with injuries was the cause of the fire.
Eighteen bulldozers, 38 engines along with 1774 firefighters,
will join heavy lift helicopters as mop-up operations begin. Those are expected to go on for the next couple of weeks. A helicopter equipped with infra-red
cameras will be flying over the area searching for hot spots.
