Big Trees State Park is closed until Friday, as firefighters continue their mop up operation after the Darby
fire that burned more than 14 thousand acres in the Stanislaus River canyon.
The effort to contain the fire cost 18 million dollars. By Friday, crews
expect to control the fire.
