Governor Davis is hinting he may veto any costly legislation that lawmakers sent him last week. That could
include increases in workers compensation and unemployment insurance benefits.
Davis told reporters in Davis Wednesday he is not commenting on
whether he will sign or veto specific bills. Lawmakers sent him hundreds of measures before they adjourned early Saturday morning.
