Tuolumne County health officials are stressing the fact that it´s difficult to contract anthrax, as reports continue to come in about suspicious packages and letters.
Emergency Medical Services Coordinator Dan Birch says victims have to inhale or swallow the spores, or absorb them through the skin.
So far 8 reports have been investigated, all with negative results. Stay alert, and call 9-1-1 if you get something suspicious, but there´s no need for panic.
