The High Country Sports Arena has received a matching grant of over 17 thousand dollars from the Sonora Area Foundation, a community foundation that directs charitable contributions to projects in Tuolumne County. The money will help pay for special flooring in the indoor skating rink.
The arena will be used for youth and adult roller hockey and recreational skating for kids and adults.
