Tuolumne County SWAT team members took an accused killer into custody for Stanislaus County investigators shortly after 3:00 yesterday afternoon.
Officers surrounded the Preston Lane apartment in Jamestown, where 33 year old Crispin Gutierrez was hiding, after a double shooting in Waterford Monday. Deputies got Gutierrez out of the unit and turned him over to Stanislaus County detectives without incident, after evacuating the building. He´s accused of gunning down a man and woman, killing the man.
