New Frog Protections Pondered

A federal judge is considering new protections for the threatened red-legged frog, a decision that could affect more than 4 million acres across 28 California counties. The Home Builders Association of Northern California has gone to court to block the Fish and Wildlife Service´s designation of critical habitat for the frog.
