A tornado watch has been issued for California´s Sacramento Valley until 6 pm (Pacific Time)
National Weather Service meteorologist Randy Hartley in Sacramento, says very unstable air is over Northern California, after passage of a front that is producing winter storm conditions in the Sierra Nevada today and tonight.
The tornado watch until 6 pm is in effect in eleven Northern California counties. They are Sacramento, Yolo, Shasta, Tehama, Butte, Glenn, Yuba, Colusa, Sutter, Western Placer County and Eastern Solano County.
