The County Board of Supervisors will discuss the possible decertification of the Mountain Springs environmental impact report at a special meeting Tuesday at 3 p.m. To decertify the report will require 3 votes from the five person board.
Because Supervisor Larry Rotelli, who voted to approve the EIR in a 3 to 2 vote back in September, is out of town, the possibility for a tie vote on the matter is high.
If the report remains certified, a accelerated version of the development may be presented in the future.
