Update 2:42 PM: A man parking a 2013 Chevy Silverado pickup truck caused major injuries to a pedestrian and the building off Highway 108 and Draper Mine Road.
According to Sonora area CHP Norbert Johnson, 74 of Columbia pulled forward from a parking spot in front of two businesses and hit Jeffrey Traill, 68 of Soulsbyville. The injuries to Traill were described as major but not life-threatening, he was taken to the hospital. Drugs or alcohol are not suspected in the crash. There is damage to the High Voltage Dance Academy and Yorkle & Friends Pet
Original Post 11:18 AM: Soulsbyville, CA — An ambulance is responding to a crash in the vicinity of Highway 108 and Draper Mine Road in the Soulsbyville area.
The CHP reports that a vehicle has hit a building. It is not immediately clear which structure was struck. Be prepared for activity nearby. We’ll pass along more information as it becomes available.
