Valley Springs, CA — A Valley Springs woman was injured in a crash in Calaveras County over the weekend.
The CHP reports that 53-year-old Maria Hinsey was the passenger in a Jeep that overturned on Sunday afternoon on Sandretto Road near Pardee Dam. The driver, Neal Hinsey, lost control of the Jeep while negotiating a right hand turn. The Jeep went off the road and hit and embankment, causing it to overturn. Mrs. Hinsey was taken by air ambulance to a hospital in Modesto. She suffered reported “moderate injuries.” Her husband was not injured.
