Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Supervisors appointed members to the Board’s Planning Committee and the Biological Resources Ad Hoc Committee.
A pair of seats was open on the Planning Committee and only two applicants applied. Mark Banks of the Tuolumne County Building Industry was appointed along with Ron Kopf of the Tuolumne County Business Council.
On a different matter, only five people were interested in seven open seats on the Biological Resources Ad Hoc Committee. Banks was selected for the seat representing development interests, Kopf for business interests, Tom Parrington of the Audubon Society representing environmental and conservation interests, Dianne Moore as a Biologist and Blue Mountain Minerals President Carey Haughy as an at-large member. They were all members of the previous Biological Resources Review Guide Ad Hoc Committee. No one expressed interest in filling the seats representing agriculture or Department of Fish and Wildlife interests.
All of the appointments were approved unanimously.
