Angels Camp, CA –There is a head on crash in Calaveras County. The CHP is reporting two cars smashed into each other at curve on Murphys Grade Road off Highway 4 in Angels Camp. Traffic is stopped and there is debris in the roadway. Motorists will want to use caution in the area. We will bring you more information as soon as it is available.

Update 5:50pm: The CHP reports ambulance is on the scene and there are major injuries.
Update 6:30PM: The CHP reports two people were air ambulance to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto. Also, the roadway is cleared and traffic is moving freely.
