Tuolumne, CA — Summerville high school district has found a General Contractor to make upgrades to the school.
The board of trustees conducted four interviews and made a tentative agreement with Robert E. Boyer Construction of Twain Harte. Boyer was qualified for pre construction planning for phase one of the construction projects. BCA architects will be working with Boyer Construction to plan the projects paid for with bond money. They will submit the plans to the state for approval. The District doesn’t guarantee that the builder selected or awarded the contract will also undertake Phase 2 or Phase 3 work.
Summerville Superintendent Robert Griffith says they were able to select the lowest bid and a local contractor.
Construction on a new stadium is tentatively scheduled for the late spring of 2014. For a description of the proposed construction phases view Summerville Seeks Qualified Builders here.
