Clements Road Residents Return To Homes

Pine Mountain Lake, CA — Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Officials have lifted the evacuation notice for residents on Clements Road near Pine Mountain Lake.

Sheriff’s Spokesperson Scott Johnson reports that as of 6pm this evening residents will be allowed to return to their homes. That includes about 16 homes that had been under that evacuation order. PG & E and firefighters will be in the area to assist home owners.

The evacuation advisory for Tuolumne City, Ponderosa Hills and the area east of Highway 108 from Soulsbyville to Mi-Wuk to Pinecrest Lake is still in effect.

This afternoon Sheriff’s officials opened North Tuolumne Road to Black Oak Casino and Tuolumne Road to Cherry Valley Boulevard. The Casino will open at six tonight. However, Ponderosa Hills and Tuolumne City are still only open to residents and fire personnel.
